Hiya Lost Backers!
It is with extreme joy that I announce 100% of the rewards for this Kickstarter have been shipped out as planned! And we all should congratulate Papa and Mama Cagno for their priceless help getting these out the door. Pretty intense last few days and I couldn't have done without them, they are truly sweet \o/
Please expect your packages to arrive in the next two to three weeks - international backers should expect them within a month. And because I'm a sucker for numbers and stats, here are some of them:
592 packages shipped + 22 mailing tubes with posters
39 backers have not completed their Surveys and won't get their stuff until they do so (that was higher than average... what the heck happened here?)
Over $7,000 spent on shipping (that's always an impressive figure as USPS prices continue to raise...)
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all once again for the massive support and understanding throughout this whole experience. I know there were delays and I'm sorry for them but it's quite amazing to see you all getting your rewards and being so happy with them.
MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS?
Mistakes happen, there is no way around it, and I'm pretty sure one or more backers might notice an item missing. Please verify if all your items have arrived. This was a family operation where my parents and I did everything ourselves to fulfill your pledges and even though we were as thorough as possible mistakes could have happened.
I also continue to perfect my shipping methods and even though I think I got to a pretty good standard already damages might have occurred under the care of USPS.
You have to e-mail me instead of messaging me here on Kickstarter so I can queue you up for a replacement or secondary package. In case of damaged goods I will also need photos of the damage.
I won't be around in the US again until mid-February but I'm more than happy to do right by my backers and see that all of you are 100% satisfied with your Lost Kids Kickstarter experience. Just make sure to e-mail me, capisce?
With one Kickstarter behind us it is time to look forward to the future again. The Kickstarter for The Few and Cursed: Shadow Nation is already chasing down some Stretch Goals and it'd be great to have most of you giving this title a chance as well.
You do NOT need to read any previous Few and Cursed books to enjoy this story. It is a brand new and complete story set in the same universe and really up the LK's alley - big adventure, long journey, fantasy setting.
LaVerne is a postwoman in a world where most of the water on the planet has been gone for seventy years. When she gets a cursed package to be delivered to the front lines of the Texas-Comanche War she's got no choice but to brave the dangerous and wicked trek across enemy territory.
I sincerely hope you all give this new book a chance, I was fortunate enough to partner up with two terrific artists - Rui Silveira & Teo Gonzales - and we have honestly been working on some incredible pages.
Plus the perks we are looking to unlock via Stretch Goals are awesome ;)

Hey Lost Backers!
I've got some fantastic news to share about your fulfillment and also some gorgeous snapshots of the books and all the other goodies that are shipping out in the next few days.
But before I get around to it allow me to present the latest The Few and Cursed book now LIVE on Kickstarter and already unlocking Stretch Goals \o/
We have two different editions of the 80-page book, the softcover TPB with cover art by Luke Ross (pictured on the left) and the Kickstarter exclusive hardcover edition with cover by Gilberto Martimiamo Jr. (pictured on the right).
Shadow Nation introduces readers to a weary and mute postwoman, LaVerne, as she embarks on a life-changing journey when a dying man hands her a cursed package to be delivered on the front line of the Texas-Comanche War. A package that can hopefully be used as a weapon to finally end the conflict.
This is the perfect opportunity for new readers to jump onto this universe as Shadow Nation is a complete story told in a single volume. And we also have combos at special prices with previous works in The Few and Cursed universe.
Now back to the Lost Kids with exciting news...
THE BOOKS AND OTHER COLLECTIBLES HAVE ARRIVED!
Meaning I will start shipping out packages as early as this weekend already and I plan to be 100% done with fulfillment by next Tuesday.
It was my first time directly using a printer in China and I was overwhelmed by the quality and care that was put into the manufacturing of The Lost Kids: Seeking Samarkand Part 2.

The extras unlocked via Stretch Goals also turned out great. Some of these were printed in Brazil with a printer I've been working with for years now. The trading cards for instance was their work and I'm thrilled about them.
I wish I could make more cards, really go for a full set, perhaps a Kickstarter campaign? Leave your thoughts and comments below!
In the meantime know that I will be working extra long hours over the course of the weekend to make sure all packages go out the door by Tuesday the 27th of November.

Address lock happening in two days - FINAL NOTICE to update your shipping address \o/

Hey Lost backers!
It's been a while, I know, but I finally have good news to share. The books have made port in LA on Friday and will be en route to Florida this week so I can finally start fulfillment on November 18th.
To make sure everything goes smoothly and I'm able to ship everyone's rewards in a timely manner I've started to lock down your shipping addresses. Every backer that has fulfilled their BackerKit surveys will get an e-mail today with instructions to either update their shipping address or just confirm what's already there in the next two days.
BACKERKIT WILL LOCK ADDRESSES THIS WEDNESDAY OCT. 30TH
If you need to update your address after Wednesday it will be slightly more complicated and will need to be done manually - which might not happen before the first batch of rewards go out. So please make sure to verify your shipping address as requested.
The collectible cards and other items are also en route to Florida as well and quite frankly they look amazing!
REMINDER - 46 BACKERS STILL HAVE NOT ANSWERED THEIR SURVEYS
I can't stress this enough: if you don't fulfill your BackerKit Surveys you will NOT get any rewards. It's as simple as that. I don't have any address info or confirmation of your pledge if you don't fulfill the BackerKit surveys and once I'm through with fulfillment I will not guarantee any of the items.
Just recently I got an e-mail re: another project from someone asking me where were their rewards TWO YEARS after I had fulfilled everyone's pledges. And guess what, the backer had not filled out the BackerKit survey... Please hit the link below to retrieve your own personal survey again:

THE FEW AND CURSED: SHADOW NATION COMING TO KICKSTARTER ON NOVEMBER 19TH!
Alright, my friends, I know a lot of you have already checked out my other series The Few and Cursed and are already familiar with the Redhead but there is something brand new in the works within that universe.
It's not really a spin-off, it's more of a complete story in its own right introducing a bevy of new characters, locations and curses. The Few and Cursed: Shadow Nation launches on Kickstarter in three weeks and I couldn't be more excited about it.
The book will be (at least) 64 pages long, full colored, complete story with beginning, middle and end, and it will be the perfect entry point for new readers. And while we're talking about other cool comic book projects, check out my buddy's all-ages funny and filled with heart graphic novel. It's a book against bullying aimed towards kids but after reading the first few pages I'm convinced it is actually a book for everyone.
Rob has about another week left on his Kickstarter and could really use a boost to reach 100% of his goal and maybe even go beyond.
That's it for today but now that I'm getting ready to start fulfillment expect to hear back from me regularly until all rewards have gone out. Once again I wanted to thank you all for supporting my work and being so patient with all the delays and hiccups along the way.

I'm happy to announce digital copies of both Lost Kids volumes, the 321: Fast Comics, The Few and Cursed and Too Good to Be True have been distributed!
Just a quick reminder: files are sent via BackerKit to your Kickstarter registered e-mail. EVERY backer that filled out their surveys should have already received an e-mail with download instructions. Make sure you are getting e-mails from BackerKit and/or search your e-mail for BackerKit.
If you haven't got an e-mail or downloaded your digital copies, please just hit the link https://the-lost-kids-seeking-samarkand-part-2-of-2-full-s.backerkit.com/ login with your Kickstarter registered e-mail and you are good to go, you will be taken to a page where it shows all the downloads you have a right to.
49 BACKERS STILL HAVEN'T FILLED OUT THEIR SURVEYS

We're still working towards the initial goal after a pretty fantastic first day that got us over halfway through (we're currently sitting at 59% of our initial goal \o/)
One-Eyed Jack is a thrilling re-telling of the events that led up to the Las Vegas Shooting that took place back in October 1st, 2017.
Created and executive produced by Anthony E. Zuiker - the creator of TV franchise CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - with stunning artwork by Brazilian artist BRÄO this new series looks to be a protest comic book designed to raise awareness to political and social issues in our country but with a twist.

Hey there Lost backers!
I'm pretty stoked to share I've finished working on the second Lost Kids book and production is now complete! I've just sent the files to the printer in China and we will start working on them together during pre-press.
I wish I had nothing but good news though...
The estimate time to complete the printing - it does involve two different sets of hard cover books - is about ten weeks. Printing these hard cover books with UV Spot, gold foil and serialized numbering is really complex not to mention the 40 to 50 days it takes to get the goods all the way from China to Florida.
I'm afraid I won't be able to send out all your rewards in October as originally scheduled.
At the same time I'm really confident Shanghai E-Heng Printing will do a fantastic job within the time they asked me for. I've worked with them once already and things couldn't have gone any smoother.
While there will be a delay it will be a small one. I expect to ship every reward package between November 18th and November 25th / 28th tops.
I could have sent these files a few days earlier and perhaps get them out the door as scheduled but I didn't want to rush production. I re-did all the dialogue of all four comic books, I wrote new texts and edited together a brand new Making Of, all from scratch. I also went after original "lost" pin-ups from almost ten years ago to include them in the book as well.
This has been a labor of love and I hope it shows =)
Every book comes with a glossy dust-jacket with artwork printed on both sides. Here's a sneak peek at side "A"!
